Dice Coffee Table

Dice came about as a result of the dance between design and manufacture. Restrictions from manufacture became the impetus for what we might highlight in the design. The joint between the glass and the metal legs had to be a perfectly machined part in stainless steel. This graphic connection visually reminded of dots in a die. Eshewing order, the 'dots' are dispersed asymmetrically, as if dice tumbled across a table top. A criss-crossing frame beneath joins the dots.
